Horizons in Robe

If you are looking for accomodation that is incredibly close to the ocean, has everything you could ever need and is super cosy, then I have the place for you.

Introducing- Horizons.

A two story delight, sleeping up to 10 guests ever so comfortably, but also perfect for couples looking for the ultimate getaway. Situated between Long Beach and Robe town centre, only a brisk 5 minute walk on the Coastal Walk each way. It’s in the perfect spot for those looking for a beachside holiday that seems a world away from everything, but still close to the action.

If you want a holiday where you don’t have to leave the house, you can do just that without getting bored. There’s boardgames, books, even a seperate lounge area and playstation for the kids (or bigger kids). Plug in your phone to the Bose speaker upstairs and you’re set to go.

Expect to find the whole loungeroom, dining room and kitchen with floor to ceiling windows. A deck wraps around the property, with BBQ facilities, lounge chairs and a big dining table so you can do all your entertaining outside. When you see the view you will definitely want to take advantage of it!

Being so close to town there’s plenty of options to dine out, however the well appointed kitchen makes it very tempting to dine-in. Kitted out with modern appliances, stone bench tops, all the crockery you could need and plenty of indoor dining space- it’s the ultimate entertainer.

As day turns to night you’ll jump into beds you’ll never want to get out of. Super soft mattresses and linen you’ll love- I may have contemplated bringing the doona onto the lounge chairs outside so I could wrap up as I listened to the ocean roll in. If you fancy yourself a spot of stargazing then you have to use their telescope- the other half used it during both the day and night and the quality of it is superb. You might even be able to spot yourself a seal or whale in the right season!

Given the weather was a bit dicey when we stayed, we loved the addition of the wood fire (a real wood fire!) There’s nothing like hearing the ocean crashing on your doorstep in the comfort of a roaring fire. They supply wood too, you may just need to pick up some kindling from the servo (we found plenty of twigs along the coastal walk!)

We fell head over heels in love with this property. As huge lovers of nature and the ocean, we felt like Horizons ticked all of our boxes. It’s easy to feel lost in big houses, but as a couple we only used the upstairs and we felt like it was perfect fit for us.

Nature lovers, big families or groups, couples and beach dwellers. You’re all going to love this place. I promise.

You can book Horizons through Kim at Love Robe or on Airbnb.

**Dressed in Copper was a guest of Love Robe. Although invited to stay, opinions always remain honest and my own, and we would 100% stay here again**
