Immaculately presented. Every detail thought of. Family friendly. Modern. Comfortable. Plenty of space.

I could go on and on, but you you’re better off getting in the car to Robe and experiencing it yourself.

I’m talking about Honeyton.

Managed by Happyshack- known for their attention to detail and being fantastic hosts for some of the best Airbnbs on the Limestone Coast, the Honeyton property truly has it all. Those who know me, know my family and I love Robe. It’s by far one of my favourite places and holds a special place in my heart.

As soon as you pull into the driveway you know you’re onto a winner as the location is everything. A 2 minute walk to the beach and less than two minutes walk to the Main Street, making it very convenient when you need to pop out. You’d think being so close to the main drag would make it noisy, but the only sound we could hear was of the waves crashing. Pretty awful thing to deal with… not!

When it comes to spaces, this home is designed perfectly and with the thought of large families or a few groups of friends in mind. Each bedroom is spacious, light filled, airy and so homely. The beds are super comfortable, there’s plenty of hanging space for clothes and bags and they rooms are spread out enough so you don’t feel like you’re on top of each other.

The 2 bathrooms were the perfect size and very clean, and we loved having full laundry facilities so we could get a spot of washing done before we headed home. The kitchen was probably the most well-appointed we had ever stayed in, with absolutely everything thought of. There’s every pot and pan you could need if you fancied cooking dinner, and the BBQ in the backyard makes cooking steak and snags a breeze.

The giant dining area and lounge are the perfect spot to entertain and hang out. The cupboard has games, there’s wifi and Netflix if you want some screen time or if you want to disconnect, then sink into one of the lounges and read a good book. When we were at home we spent the days relaxing and playing inside and we spent both nights cosied on the couch watching TV when the kids were in bed. If the weather is good, which we were blessed with, you can spend your days out on the deck or out in the front courtyard on the grass. Both got a good workout with the kids, and sitting on the deck in the morning with a cup of tea listening to the birdsong or at night watching the sun go down is an absolute treat.

We stayed for two nights and could have easily have stayed a week, it was just that lovely.
