All I want for Christmas is…

the 2018 edition

I can’t believe we are talking about Christmas and that it’s literally just around the corner! I absolutely LOVE Christmas, even though it’s generally spent at work away from all the festivities. The tree is already up, i’ve written out my xmas cards and wrapped a fair chunk of pressies under the tree- this year i’ll do anything to avoid parking at Westfield Marion in December.

This year i’ve done a fair chunk of shopping online because it’s just so damn easy. Whilst adding to cart for everyone else, i’ve been making a list for myself. As always it’s full of South Aussie goodness (this time round there’s a bit of interstate action, but they are all small businesses #sharethelove)

Here’s what this almost 30 year old girl has on her wishlist..

The Shorty Locker in Mustard from Mustard- $199.00

Cute office addition, perfect for a kids room or even in the lounge for a pop of colour. I’m obsessed with what Mustard’s made.

Winestains Barossa- Double Picnic Stake, $42.00

Perfect for double dates on the lawn with a platter. Not just for the lovers, but great for a day out with the besties too.

Lobster Oversize Tote from Baby Mac Shop- $22.95

If you are into online reading and blogs, then you need to check out Baby Mac. I’ve been following her for years on her blog and insta, and to say shes a laugh is a understatement. This hilarious, honest and lovely woman has a online shop with all her favourite things, including this awesome tote. I love the colours and it screams days at the beach.

Sawyer Ivy from Potted Thoughts- $42.00

I’m a sucker for indoor plants, and a Devils Ivy is no exception. I love how they trail and are relatively low maintenance. Plus, how cute is this pot!

Emma Sadie Thomson- Wall Planter Ripple in Black, from $95.00

I’m in love with the whole of EST range online, but I am head-over-heels with her hanging planters. I’m in the process of landscaping our backyard, and these would be the perfect addition to our alfresco area.

Roger t-shirt from Castle and Things- $85.00

The popo in me just loves this t-shirt. I purchased a ‘all my crap’ tote from this brand a few months ago and the quality and colours are fab, plus the slogan couldn’t be more fitting. I can’t wait to add to my Castle and Things collection.

Seppeltsfield Road Distillers- House Gin, $66.00

I am so obsessed with gin at the moment- and how lucky are we to be living in South Australia with so many good gin producers on our door step. I’m yet to try this gin, so it’s on my hitlist. Pop it on yours, i’ve heard good things!

Otti Made- Oval Quail Speckle Dish, $27.50

Otti Made is based in the Barossa Valley and artist, Iiona, makes the most beautiful eco-friendly wares. This dish is on my wishlist, as is everything on her site. If you are looking for unique pieces for your home, then pay her a visit.

Bright Threads, Flowering Gum Table Runner- $89.95

Designed in South Australia and printed in Indonesia, Bright Threads and the pop of colour you need in your home. I recently got my hands on some of their tea towels and they are just divine. Now i’m after their Flowering Gum number- I can see this sitting proudly at the table for our girls chrissy get together or a long summer lunch. Love the colours and the print.

Katia Carletti- Vase 8, $200.00

I fell in love with Katia and her wares many moons ago at a pottery class I attended at Poets Ode in Hahndorf. After making my wonky sugar pot, i’ve been wanting some more of her wares. I love this vase, as well as plates and beakers.

Seasonal Pickling and Fermenting Workshop, the August edition- My Grandma Ben, $60.00

Those who know me know I LOVE pickles, so this workshop is right up my alley. I’ve been hanging out to visit My Grandma Ben for food for ages now, Jessie Spiby is a food queen, and her meals speak my language. Nothing like the gift of learning for Christmas (and food, always food).

Kate Middletoe Socks by Chattyfeet, from the Baby Mac Shop- $19.00

Okay, so it’s evident that I love pretty much everything on the BabyMac shop- Beth has damn good taste. I am a sucker for colourful, fun long socks (i’ve worn them under my work uniform for 6 years now..) and these are a winner. I’m not a big royal watcher, but these socks are just awesome.

Faces and Food of the Fleurieu- $65.00

I’ve got to admit I pre-ordered this book before it came out, but if you are looking for the ultimate coffee table/recipe book, all about my favourite region then you need to get your hands on this. Expect beautiful photographs and interesting stories about the producers and growers in the region, and some seriously delicious meal ideas.

Mandala Cheeseboards from Earth Art, various prices

I first spotted these works of art on Instagram and immediately fell in love, and I can confirm they are just as beautiful in real life. In all shapes and sizes, these boards have the designs burnt into the wood, which means no peeling or fading. I’ll take one of each thanks.

Scatter Love- Emma Kate Co x Fat Mum Slim- $20.00

Even though she lives in Melbourne, i’m still claiming Emma as a Adelaidian. I’m obsessed with her hand written goods, from prints to blush leather passport holders. I love the idea behind ‘Scatter Love’- sending love via postcards to who ever you’re thinking about. Nothing like pen to paper- it’s my favourite. The designs this round are dreamy- they might be stuck on the wall instead of sent out.

Sair Bean Art face earrings

Sair Bean is one of my FAVOURITE Adelaide artists. I’d describe her work as eclectic and fun. Her face earrings are some of my favourite works, but i’m also dying to get my hands on one of her boob mugs. Because who doesn’t love boobs!

Feather and Noise- Anna Shirt, $69.00

When it comes to online shopping, Feather and Noise is one of my favourite sites. They stock so many beautiful clothes you will be spoily for choice. It’s been months since i’ve bought myself new clothes, so when I take the plunge this is on my list. Love it!
