Raw Carob, Mint and Fig Bliss Balls


1/2 cup medijool dates
1/3 cup all natural peanut butter
1.5tbps coconut oil, melted
2/3 cup almond meal
Handful of almonds
1/3 dried figs
1/3 cup The Carob Kitchen raw carob powder
1 tablespoon chai seeds
Dash of peppermint essence
Desiccated coconut to roll balls in


  1. Put all dry ingredients into a food processor and blend until ingredients form a powder. It can be a little chunky, this just adds texture.
  2. Add the remaining ingredients and process until combined.
  3. If the mixture is too wet, add some more almond meal. If it’s too dry I like to add some more peanut butter.
  4. Roll into balls, roll in the coconut and place in the fridge to cool. Perfect for a on the go snack or to keep the choccie cravings at bay!

Thanks Jess I have a bowl of figs from our garden in my fridge and was just wondering what else I might make with them. This will be perfect as a little gift for my bridal party this weekend – ( If they last that long ha ha!)
