Milo Balls

Australia Day is approaching- get the thongs and stubby holders on standby!
This year I’m working so the celebrations need to be non alcoholic (sad face) and be portable enough to enjoy at work.

When I found this recipe for Milo Balls on the Capri Collective I knew I had found winner. They only use four ingredients, are perfect for on the go and use Australia’s favourite Milo- a staple in our house as growing up as kids. The only problem I had with these babies is eating the mixture before I rolled them into balls- whoops!

Ingredients

  • 1x packet of Arnotts Arrowroot Biscuits
  • 1x can of Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 2 heaped tablespoons of Milo (I used three very heaped tablespoons, because, why not!)
  • Desiccated Coconut to cover

Method

  1. Prepare a plate/baking sheet- line with baking paper for the balls to sit on. Place a small amount of coconut in a bowl.
  2. Crush the biscuits in a food processor until they turn into a fine crumb. A high speed processor takes about 10-20 seconds.
  3. Place crumbs in a bowl and add Milo.
  4. Mix in the can of sweetened condensed milk using a metal spoon. I used my hands at the end as it was easier to combine.
  5. Once combined roll into small balls. Place the balls into the coconut and roll them until they are fully covered.
  6. Place onto the prepared baking tray.
  7. Place in the fridge until set.
  8. DEVOUR!
