The Fleurieu Pantry.

my favourite place to eat in the south of Adelaide and has been for a very long time.

hidden behind a cute home-wears store- this cute little cafe boasts a brilliant menu focused on whole foods cooked with fresh and local produce. even better they have now opened a small store next door to their cafe which sells ready made meals, paleo friendly snacks, chai puddings and everything in-between. don’t feel like cooking but want to eat something healthy that is delicious at the same time (yes it is possible!), then this is your new go to place!

meals are reasonably priced and are full of flavour. they also have a long list of teas and other beverages on offer (think smoothies, juices, wine, coffees). having being here several times you think I would have more happy snaps but the food usually gets devoured before I get the chance.

When it comes to sweets they have a great range of raw, gluten free and vegan options, as well as the not-so-healthy options. either way there all delicious. the fleurieu pantry also offers a high tea which has to be pre booked in advance but is a fab idea for a mothers day or a good excuse to get the girls together (or drag the boyfriend along, when he sees the food he wont complain).

high tea- think lemon curd cupcakes, little sandwiches, quiches and chocolate dipped biscuits.

my personal favs from the menu include the wontons, chicken burger, jungle juice and the little serves of nachos you get as a side.

you can find the fleurieu pantry at 20 gawler street, Port Noarlunga. its the hidden gem of the south.
