It may not be the warmest at the moment in little old Adelaide, but that doesn’t stop us from sinking a few bevvies to keep us toasty (because any weather is beer weather, right?).

We have so many awesome breweries popping up in South Australia, pouring everything from Red Ales to Chocolatey Stouts. If you’re a fan of BBQ’ed meats as well as beer (because who isn’t) then you need to check out the Adelaide Beer and BBQ Festival at the Adelaide Showgrounds from the 28th-30th of July 2017. With over 50 exhibitors showing off their brews and some serious players in the BBQ and food scene on show, its a weekend not to be missed.

But without further ado, here are 15 of our favourite SA beers at the moment (we had to cut it down to 15 or the list would get a little bit redic)

Big Shed Brewing Co- Golden Stout Time

Meechi Brewing Company- Pale Ale

Robe Town Brewery- Shearers Joy

The Steam Exchange Brewery Goolwa- Steam Ale

Clare Valley Brewing Co- Red Ale

Goodiesons Brewery- Red Ale

Little Bang Brewing Co- Breakfast at Stepney

Vale Brewing- Mid Coast

Mismatch Brewing Co- Session Ale

Pikes Beer Company- Tonic Ale

Swell Brewing- Golden Ale

Pirate Life Brewing- Throwback IPA

Prancing Pony Brewery- India Red Ale

Lobethal Beirhaus- Chocolate Oatmeal Stout

Smiling Samoyed- Kolsch

Brewboys- Maiden Ale

You can find more info on the Adelaide Beer & BBQ Festival on their website or Facebook page.

Also big love going out to Goodwood Cellars, Cellarbrations Brighton, Sturt Street Cellars and East End Cellars for having a mean selection of SA beers (and wines). If you’re looking to support local and get your hands on some quality brews, these guys know where its at.
